Oh my! This is so sad. You don’t know in that situation that what will be best thing to do. My brother was in an accident once and he took help of a good DUI lawyer. Luckily, nobody was majorly hit but his car was ruined.

And he was in the car somehow. He was driving when a cyclist turned. He saw he was going to hot the car so he jumped off the motorcycle. And the handlebar impaled his neck. OMFG he was like my father figure... every Sunday after church we'd get a bagel and have a chat. He accepted me for who I was and he baptized me yesterday.
